BRITISH Pop-Rock band The Vamps played to one of their biggest crowds to date at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on Friday night to promote the release of their new ‘Night and Day – Day edition’ album.

The concept consists of four separate albums for each member of the band, meaning fans now have the chance to get their hands on a signed copy of their favourite member's version. The band also treat fans to a new single ‘Hair Too Long’ with an accompanying video which saw fans take to social media to praise.

The night kicked off with support from HRVY, New Hope Club and Jacob Sartorius who hyped the crowd up ahead of The Vamps’ set.

The lights went down, plummeting the crowd into a frenzy as Tristan took to the stage first, raising his drumsticks into the air which signalled the rest of the band’s entrance onto the stage from beneath it.

The whole show was a masterpiece with pyrotechnics, video screens and confetti which set the stage perfectly for Brad who led the crowd throughout.

Taking fans on a journey through their career the band played a range of hits including all the classics; ‘Wake Up’, ‘Somebody To You’ and ‘Wild Heart’ before James and Connor took centre stage to sing their take on ‘Risk It All’ as voted by fans on Twitter.

Lead singer and frontman of the band Brad Simpson was dressed in a black and white striped shirt, paying homage to his northern roots, commenting on how nice it was to be back in Newcastle.

The band will go on to play Manchester, Liverpool, and Birmingham before heading across to Europe for a string of summer shows and with tickets selling fast and its not hard to see why!
