THRILLER Live is set to moonwalk direct from the West End to the North-East later this month.

The show - celebrating the career and music of Michael Jackson - coming to the Sunderland Empire from Thursday to Saturday, February 15 to 17.

It’s coming to the region following a hugely successful run in the West End and the tour is led by Britt Quentin, who has performed in 2,320 performances of Thriller Live over six years in the capital, where the show has just become the 15th longest running musical in West End history.

Now in its record breaking tenth year, after opening in the Lyric Theatre in London on, January 2, 2009 to rave reviews, Thriller Live has celebrated its ninth birthday in the West End, embarked on a world tour and a sell-out UK arena tour, played over 5,000 shows globally to over four million fans, visited over 30 countries and entered the West End record books by becoming the longest running show in the Lyric Theatre’s 125-year history.

Taking you on an electrifying visual and audio journey through the magic of Michael’s 45-year musical history, you’ll experience over two hours of non-stop hits from pop to rock, soul to disco. Paying homage to Jackson’s legendary live performances and innovative dance moves executed with flair, precision and passion this is a show that you will never forget.

American star Quentin is the lead vocalist and resident director of the West End show and on the tour.
