Record sales for Nissan
NISSAN, which has a production plant in the North-East, reported a record November for sales in Europe with 49,168 units, up by 14.5 per cent year on year.
In the year to date, Nissan has sold 521,285 units, up 6.2 per cent compared with 2006.
Once again, sales were up for the eighth consecutive month and Nissan saw growth not only in Eastern Europe, but also saw strong performances in the major markets across Western Europe.
Russia broke the 100,000 milestone with 108,733 units sold year to date, representing an increase of 62.8 per cent year on year.
