A PRODUCTION company has celebrated a decade since its launch by winning a number of new contracts.

Fridge Productions has secured deals with North York Moors National Park and the new Alpamare waterpark in Scarborough.

The company, based in Saltburn, east Cleveland, has also won projects with Scarborough Borough Council and Ryedale District Council.

Fridge has previously carried out work for the BBC and Welcome to Yorkshire, and bosses say the company saw a 20 per cent increase in new work due to it producing a promotional film about the Yorkshire leg of the Tour de France in 2014.

David Jinks, who founded Fridge Productions in 2006, said: “It is certainly been a very interesting ten years and 2016 has surpassed our expectations- largely thanks to our growing reputation in the travel and tourism sectors.

“It is great to be able to promote the stunning North-East and Yorkshire regions to a worldwide market both online and on TV.

“It is a very exciting time for our industry as more organisations than ever before recognise the benefits of video content for marketing.

“But we also understand that it can be a daunting prospect- that is why we make the process simple, fun and cost-effective all of which contributes to our continuing success, putting the region on the map.”
