FIVE award-winning property developments from the North-East have been selected for the national final of a prestigious awards scheme.

The grand final of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors awards takes place at London’s Dorchester Hotel on October 16, hosted by broadcaster Sian Williams.

Greenland Primary School, from South Moor, near Stanley, in County Durham has been shortlisted in the Community Benefit category of the awards, while the Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart has made the final in the Regeneration award.

The Tracerco Measurement Technology Centre, in Billingham, has made it through to the Design Through Innovation final, while the Black Barn in Hexham has reached the Building Conservation final and Morpeth’s flood alleviation scheme is in the Infrastructure award.
