North-East band Maximo Park will perform at the BBC 6 Music Festival.
THE NORTH-EAST will host this year's BBC Radio 6 Music Festival, which will feature performances from The War On Drugs, Maximo Park, Hot Chip, Neneh Cherry, Jon Hopkins, Interpol and Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers.
The second ever 6 Music Festival, takes place in Newcastle and Gateshead from February 20 to 22.
A full three day bill is to be announced over the coming days.
The Festival will be split between two venues: Newcastle O2 Academy and Sage Gateshead.
6 Music Festival Tickets go on sale at the end of this week and will be sold individually, one per daily event.
