A TEAM from three leading businesses has been brought together to set out the future for cloud computing in the North-East.

The North East Chamber of Commerce and Brewin Dolphin will join experts from hosted desktop specialists Atlas Cloud to host an interactive briefing.

The event – the second organised by Atlas Cloud - will answer the Big Four questions facing businesses: What will it mean for me; How secure is my data; How do the figures add up and What’s it like to be working in the cloud?

Phil Richardson, founder of Atlas Cloud, said: “It’s fantastic that we have such high-profile supporters as the NECC and Brewin Dolphin. They know these are top priorities for businesses across the country.

“With their help, we’ll outline the changes management and staff can expect and explain the high security the cloud offers. We will make sure our guests are clear about the costs of cloud computing and we’ll have a business owner on hand who has already adopted the cloud.”

John Duns of Brewin Dolphin said: “The rapid growth of cloud technology means it will play a huge part in any business’s forward planning. Brewin Dolphin’s investment management and financial planning teams are at the cutting edge of that development and events like this are essential to help as many businesses as possible join the revolution.”

The session is from 8am - 10am on Wednesday, October 8 at the Brewin Dolphin offices at Time Central, Newcastle. There will also be a Q&A to wrap up any other issues.

Places are limited so please RSVP by 22nd September to lisa.feizlmayr@atlascloud.co.uk to reserve your place.
