A TRAINING provider is hosting career evenings for aspiring engineering students.
The TTE Technical Training Group, in South Bank, near Middlesbrough, is holding events for Year 11 pupils on Tuesday, February 10, and Thursday, February 12.
The organisation is one of the UK’s largest apprenticeship training centres for the engineering, manufacturing, oil and gas and process sectors.
Steve Grant, TTE’s managing director, said: “Each year we receive more applications for places on our courses.
“Many school leavers are now choosing a vocational route into employment and we encourage anyone considering this path to attend one of our career evenings.
“It will provide youngsters with an insight into the industry and by talking to learners and trainers help them make the right decision.”
The open events take place between 5pm and 7pm.
