STOCKTON-BASED mechanics North Eastern 4x4 have expanded their team by taking on a newly-qualified apprentice.

Jack Errington, 21 from Norton, completed his apprenticeship as a motor vehicle technician with Hartlepool College, achieving an Advanced Level Apprenticeship level 1-2-3 Diploma.

The team at North Eastern 4x4 was extremely impressed with Jack’s practical skills and attitude and have decided to employ him.

The company will continue to invest in his training by putting him through a Land Rover Master Technician course at the Land Rover Technical Academy in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

James Grady, 20 from Fishburn, County Durham is undergoing his apprenticeship at North Eastern 4x4 and will qualify in 2015.

He is completing his apprenticeship with New College Durham and was awarded the 2013 Motor Vehicle Apprentice of the Year by the college due to his impressive practical skills and ability.

North Eastern 4x4, an independent Land Rover & BMW specialist, employs nine members of staff and is hoping to take on an additional apprentice in the coming months.
