A NORTH-EAST graduate has tapped into a niche market by opening a hair extension studio.
Victoria Cartwright runs Lox of Love, in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, which offers mobile hair extension services across the North-East.
After winning a deal to become official stockist of renowned brand, Halo Hair, she has now opened her first premises and taken on a member of staff.
Tamsin Edwards has joined as retail and marketing associate.
Ms Cartwright says the move has rekindled ambitions of starting her own company after completing a business degree at Teesside University.
The mother-of-three said: “There are a million and one mobile hair extension firms out there and there's also a whole heap of horror stories.
“You speak to any woman who has extensions and most, if not all, will have had extensions that they’re not happy with.
“I make sure we offer excellent after care and we focus on quality.”
