AN offshore renewables training company is moving to the North-East.
Offshore Marine Academy (OMA), is switching to Wynyard Park, near Sedgefield, County Durham, to take advantage of the region's offshore energy prowess.
The firm has been based in Bristol since 2010.
Antony Lewis, OMA business manager, said: “Having a presence in the North-East gives us easier access to the people and companies that require our services.
“It's exciting to see the opportunity that's in front of us, and we are looking forward to supporting continued industry growth while ensuring the highest safety standards.”
Claire Tallon, Wynyard Park's facilities and estates manager, added: “It's pleasing our excellent facilities and location have been acknowledged as a key factor for OMA to re-locate here.”
