Reflex action sees company open new site
A NORTH-East vehicle hire company
has opened a site in the region.
Reflex Vehicle Solutions has spent
£60,000 on the premises close to its
headquarters at Preston Farm Industrial
Estate, in Stockton.
The two-acre site will house Reflex's
hire desk, yard and vehicle preparation
team and recharge department.
Fourteen of the 58-strong Teesside
team will be re-locating along with
part of the local fleet.
In four years, Reflex has grown to
become one of the top ten UK vehicle
rental companies. It now operates
more than 6,000 cars and light commercial
vehicles.
As well as its headquarters in
Stockton, the company also has depots
in Middlesbrough, Oxfordshire, Glasgow
and close to the M25 in London.
Last year, the company's workforce
doubled in size to 75 and managing director,
John Collins, announced plans
to treble the size of the company during
the next three years.
Earlier this year, Reflex announced
a further 50 jobs after the completion
of a multi-million pound contract.
Speaking about the new premises,
Mr Collins said: "We are totally committed
to continually investing in our
Teesside operations and the new site,
close to our headquarters, is yet further
evidence of this.
"Teesside not only provides us with
a fantastic location but a skilled, dedicated
team that is committed to helping
Reflex grow nationally and internationally."
