Hotel will open in November
A NEW multi-million pound
hotel will open in Durham City
on November 1
The Radisson SAS will have
209 guest rooms, a large restaurant,
a bar, a leisure club with
gym, swimming pool and treatment
rooms, plus a meeting and
events space.
The meeting and events space
will have the capacity to cater for
up to 600 delegates or guests,
with facilities that include a
main banqueting suite and ten
more flexible meeting rooms of
different sizes.
For evening events, there is
space for 400 guests for a dinner,
with parking for 140 cars.
Durham railway station is about
ten minutes walk away.
Job vacancies will be advertised
over the summer, as the
hotel prepares for opening day.
