A SOFTWARE package created in the
North-East is about to be launched
around the world after strong sales
across the UK.
The Taylored Business Tools programme,
launched by Taylored Assessments,
of Morpeth, Northumberland,
has been bought by several UK
training companies, as well as a charity,
accountants and IT specialists.
Two years after its launch, it is to be
launched in Australia in July and then
globally.

The software provides a structured
online programme that can capture
any form of data.
It can be used to chart the progress
of every aspect of an organisation's
performance, encapsulating the results
in a flow-chart format.
Managing director Wendy Taylor
said the global expansion programme
was an important step in the development
of Taylored Business Tools.
"My fellow consultants and I work
with the client in identifying their
needs. From this, an assessment is designed
or we use one of our prepared
templates," she said.
"This information is coded into Taylored
Business Tools - and the software
takes over.
"It provides any sort of data gathering
tool required. These include surveys,
questionnaires and assessments
that can be accessed and used by the
client's personnel on their computers.
"The software captures the input information
and data. It does all the number
crunching, delivering management
reports that empower decision-makers
to put into place the training programme
needed.
"The software also provides the assessment
methods needed to manage
a training programme, for instance,
surveys and evaluations that follow
any individual's progress, all at the
touch of a button.
"The client keeps the data and reports
issued by the system retain the
client's brand name."
She added: "The new version of Taylored
Business Tools builds on that successful
platform.
"Clients will be able to go onto our
website and design their own diagnostic
tools and online assessments. This
is important because no one organisation
is the same.
"Organisational structures vary
enormously and each training consultancy
requires something that is
unique to the services they offer.
"Our software enables the client to
undertake in-depth studies of their
business and/or service. The key here
is interactivity. The client has full control
of the process, providing a powerful
management information tool."
