A COUNTY Durham woman will help shape future styles for brands and manufacturers after landing a new role.
Anna Woods has joined Trend Bible as a senior trend strategist.
Bosses say Ms Woods, of Bishop Auckland, will manage researchers and analysts at Newcastle-based Trend Bible, which is looking into new trends for businesses across the UK, the US and the Nordics.
The firm sells trend reports to retailers and brands such as Marks & Spencer, Moonpig, Ronseal and Lego, which help with future product and marketing decisions.
Ms Woods has 15 years’ experience in the industry, having previously been studio manager at creative agency Tigerprint and design manager at greetings card firm Hallmark.
Joanna Feeley, Trend Bible founder and chief executive, said her appointment will be particularly crucial as the company looks to improve its US foothold.
She added: “Anna’s background will help strengthen our services in the gift and greetings sector, where we work with companies who manufacture everything from birthday cakes and greetings cards to hampers and potted plants.”
