BUSINESS park bosses say demand is increasing at a growing site.

Officials at Lingfield Point, in Darlington, say they are dealing with rising inquiries after strengthening relationships with various companies.

Those firms include the Dickinson Media marketing agency, Advent Advocacy, and Para-Sols, which supports financial advisers and planners and previously doubled its base to 1,000sq ft.

Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager, said the park is attracting greater interest.

He said: “We’re delighted more creative companies are moving here.

“This is an excellent base for business; the location allows great access to road and rail links, which means companies can quickly reach clients.

“Connectivity is key and we’re pleased to help more businesses grow and succeed.”

Tim Carter, of Connect Property North East, which markets properties at Lingfield Point, confirmed the site is becoming more popular.

He said: “Inquiries have increased significantly since January.

“We have seen a real upturn in the Darlington office market and take-up for the first half of 2016 is looking very encouraging.

“In addition to new lettings at Lingfield Point, several companies have continued to grow and are now expanding into larger spaces on the site.”

Referring to his firm’s move, Adam Dickinson, Dickinson Media director, added: “The way business is going we would have no choice but to expand further and we are delighted to have joined Lingfield Point.”
