TWO training organisations have formed an alliance they say will improve industrial teaching.
The TTE Technical Training Group, in South Bank, near Middlesbrough, and RU:Training, in Stockton, are working together.
Bosses say the agreement will allow TTE, which delivers training and assessments across the oil and gas, engineering, petrochemical and manufacturing sectors, to offer rope access courses.
They added RU:Training will have access to TTE’s training suite, which help people get qualifications to operate in potentially explosive environments.
Steve Grant, TTE managing director, said: “Teesside’s industrial heritage and contemporary industries has spawned a group of internationally-recognised training providers and this agreement will help to attract even more business and opportunities to the region.
“It is important local businesses come together where possible and support each other.”
Richard Upshall, RU:Training’s executive chairman, added: “In my 25 years’ experience in oil and gas, true partnerships are a hard thing to find (but) I have every confidence we may well have found one with TTE.”
