DISCOUNT store Poundland is creating jobs in a new store.
The company is opening a site in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, which it says will deliver 24 jobs.
Bosses say the shop will be based on the Princes Gate Retail and Leisure Park, and will open on Tuesday, July 21.
Richard Lancaster, Poundland’s trading director, added: “We are delighted to be bringing our unique proposition to Catterick and creating new jobs for the area.”
The announcement comes after Sports Direct revealed it has created 44 posts in an 8,000sq ft store, also at Catterick Garrison.
