A NORTH-EAST airport has revealed two new routes.
Newcastle International Airport says Thomson and First Choice will run flights to Agadir, in Morocco, and Dubrovnik, in Croatia, from summer 2015.
Chris Sanders, the airport's aviation development director, said: “The addition of Agadir and flights to Dubrovnik is great news for the North-East.
“It is a very long time ago since we last enjoyed flights to Morocco, while the Croatian flight allows travellers the option of both Mediterranean cruise and land-based holidays.”
Since the start of the year, the airport has launched services to Gatwick, Brussels and Cork.
It has also started the first phase of a 7,000-jobs business park, with land south of the terminal set aside for the development, including offices, freight and warehouses and engineering hangars.
