A PRINTING company has created jobs and invested in new machinery to capitalise on a merger.

HPM and Addo, in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, has taken on press workers and wants new account managers and field sales staff to maintain its expansion.

The firm has also bought a new press to increase work, with bosses saying all presses are now running 24 hours a day.

The HPM Group, known for making football programmes for Sunderland and Middlesbrough, joined forces with Darlington's Addo Printing earlier this month.

Keiran Bayley, managing director, said: “Time is very much of the essence to clients and this investment means we can meet the tightest deadlines.

“The future is very bright for the company.

“We have a good spread of customers who have a mix of work we are able to produce in house.”
