A NORTH-EAST printing company has secured deals worth £400,000 to keep thousands football fans in the know.
HPM Group, in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, has renewed contracts to supply matchday programmes for Premier League sides Sunderland and Liverpool and Championship club Middlesbrough.
The company, which employs 50 people, has invested more than £550,000 in new machinery to help carry out the work, with its client list also including the Royal College of General Practitioners, Durham University and the NHS.
Richard Mortimer, HPM managing director, said the deals strengthened the position of the firm, which has an annual turnover of £5m.
He said: “It is fantastic that we've renewed our contracts with Sunderland and Middlesbrough, who we have a long association with.
"Football is an important part of life in this area and football programmes are still a vital part of the matchday experience for supporters.”
