A WHEELCHAIR manufacturer, which makes bespoke products for customers, has invested thousands of pounds on a new website to continue its expansion.
Greenacre Mobility, whose factory was opened by Princess Diana, uses its website to allow customers the chance to choose their own wheelchair, made to meet their exact needs.
The company, which makes its wheelchairs in its factory at Riverside Industrial Estate, in Middlesbrough, says it has seen export sales soar in the last year, which now account for about 20 per cent of the business.
The firm was founded in 2005 by Colin Scarsi and David Batty, who has more than 20 years' experience designing and making mobility equipment.
