A North-East chauffeuring business is expanding with the appointment of a new general manager.
Newcastle-based Parkers has recruited Stephanie Lee to look after its Teesside operations.
The family-run firm, which counts Komatsu, Siemens, International Paints and British Airways as long-standing clients, has given her the role of building the client base.
Ms Lee said: “We know client demand is strong and we already list clients on Teesside such as Fine Industries Limited, 3M, Glanbia Nutritionals, Rockliffe Hall. I am very confident that the professional and meticulous service that we’ve built our reputation on will be appreciated by Teesside’s corporate sector."
Parkers' managing director, Brian Rudd said: “It is set to be a very exciting year for Parkers. I think one of the reasons for our continued success is that the tough economic climate has brought into sharp focus just how important it is for companies to demonstrate added value.
“The reason our clients are loyal to us is because we enhance their business. We use specialist technology and a sophisticated tracking system to monitor vehicle locations and travel connections so we’re always ready and waiting for our clients or their clients, they’re never left waiting for us."
