A LAW firm with offices in the North-East has been re-appointed to a supermarket’s legal panel.

Bond Dickinson, which has offices in Stockton and Newcastle, is working with Sainsbury’s.

Bosses say it will continue advising the company on dispute resolution, employment, and retail and trading issues.

The arrangement will run until 2017.

Gavin Matthews, Bond Dickinson’s head of retail, said: “We have worked with Sainsbury's since 2004, and look forward to continuing our relationship with them.

“Understanding the commercial issues facing major brands like Sainsbury's is key to the legal service we provide, and we have worked hard to ensure we offer the best combination of legal expertise and commercial nous.”

Bond Dickinson works closely with leading retail bodies, such as the British Retail Consortium, the Property Managers Association and the British Council of Shopping Centres.
