LAWYERS have helped a farm shop expand and diversify with the introduction of a dedicated sports service for cyclists and triathletes.
Latimer Hinks Solicitors, in Darlington, has supported The Lakeside Country Park, in Ellerton, near Catterick, North Yorkshire.
Park bosses have leased an area of space to Triology Multisport Solutions, which provides advice and services for cyclists, triathletes and swimmers, as well as bicycle sales and repairs.
Neil Stevenson, a partner in Latimer Hinks’ commercial property department, negotiated and completed the lease agreement.
He said: “With its prime location and increased sporting presence, the addition of such an innovative facility to Lakeside fits in well with the business.”
Graeme Thompson, Lakeside owner, says it has expanded from a shop and café to a country park and garden shop.
He added: “With increased participation in cycling following the Olympics two years ago and the recent visit of the Tour De France, the addition of Triology is exciting.”
