A LAW firm has appointed a new partner at a North-East office.

Bond Dickinson says Emma Moody, from its charities team, has been promoted at its Newcastle base.

Bosses say the move, which also includes three further appointments across the UK, takes its number of partners to 152.

Jonathan Blair, Bond Dickinson's managing partner, said: “Our people are at the heart of our successes and these promotions reflect our commitment to nurturing and rewarding the talent we have.

Bond Dickinson, which has an office in Stockton, has also raised £36,000 for youth charity The Prince’s Trust in a clay pigeon shoot.

The event, at Lambton Estate, County Durham, featured 25 teams, and included former England and British and Irish Lion rugby union international Neil Back MBE as guest of honour.
