A GROWING North-East law firm has added to its team by appointing a dispute resolution solicitor.
Aimee Hubbard has joined BHP Law, which has offices in Newcastle, Darlington, Durham and Stockton.
Ms Hubbard joins BHP as an associate, having qualified eight years ago, and has a range of commercial litigation and property litigation experience.
Originally from Ponteland, Northumberland, she studied law at Leicester University and spent a year studying French law at Strasbourg University.
She also taught English in China, before completing an LLM in international trade at Newcastle University and the legal practice course at the College of Law, in York.
She said: “Joining BHP is a fantastic new challenge for me at an exciting time for the firm, which is growing rapidly.
“I can serve clients across the region, as well as nationally and internationally, from our network of offices.
“Within the dispute resolution team there is a wealth of commercial litigation experience across a broad range of sectors, so we are well placed to advise both business and private clients.”
