AN employment law solicitor has returned home to the North-East.
Oliver Hebdon has joined BHP Law, which has offices in Newcastle, Stockton, Durham City and Darlington.
The 26-year-old was brought up in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, and studied law at Northumbria University.
He trained at a commercial practice in St Albans and London, qualifying last month.
He said: “I wanted to move back to the North-East and BHP is a firm I have always been interested in as it has real presence in the region.
“I enjoy employment law as it involves such a huge spectrum of legal issues, from unfair dismissals to redundancy, sex discrimination to equal pay.
“The opportunity to advise on a range of legal and practical issues for individuals and businesses in different industries and professions is hugely rewarding.”
