A NORTH-EAST law firm has announced a new partner.
Mincoffs, in Newcastle, has promoted intellectual property (IP) and IT specialist Antony Hall.
Mr Hall, a graduate of Durham University, trained with Mincoffs and qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
He was promoted to the role of head of commercial last year, and his move means Mincoffs now have eight partners.
The 32-year-old specialises in advising on high value commercial deals, software contracts, intellectual property matters and general commercial law.
He has been recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers for his work in the intellectual property and IT sectors.
Mr Hall said: “I'm delighted to become a partner having enjoyed playing a part in Mincoffs’ growth over a number of years.”
Andy Woodhouse, Mincoffs' chief executive, added: “Antony's well-deserved promotion recognises the important contribution he has made at the firm.
“He is a trusted advisor for many clients and has played a pivotal role in helping the commercial department become one of the most reputable in the region for IP and IT work.”
