JOMAST has commenced a multi-million pound regeneration programme to renovate and refurbish some of Middlesbrough’s most impressive buildings.
Significant investment by the local company will transform Exchange Place and include the comprehensive refurbishment and restoration of Zetland Buildings and Zetland Place. This will provide 35,000 sq ft of high-quality Grade A office accommodation, including a new business centre in the heart of the town centre.
The impressive Wilson’s Courtyard, on Albert Road, is also undergoing major works and will include a new 4,000 sq ft ground floor premises suitable for A1, A2 and A3 use.
Mark Hill, of Jomast, said: “Albert Road and Exchange Place have the potential to be two of the most important commercial centres for service-based industries in the area and by developing these sites now, we hope to attract a variety of new businesses to Middlesbrough.
“Once complete, this development will provide some of the best office and business space in the town.”
