Expansion for Moralee

ALOCAL, specialist commercial business sales specialist is further expanding its retail operations.

Moralee and Co, from Newcastle, has received so many retail enquiries in recent months that it has created a dedicated department to manage this growing area of business.

Moralee and Co's managing director, Ian Moralee, said: "We have always handled a substantial amount retail property, although the main focus of our business is in licensed premise - pubs, hotels and restaurants - residential care homes and children's nurseries.

"However as enquiries for retail premises continue to grow, we decided to create a dedicated team to further develop this area of business and provide the necessary levels of customer service."

Craig Shaw has been given the task of overseeing the continued development of Moralee and Co's retail operations.

Craig, who has worked for the company for nine months, has a wealth of experience in this sector both regionally and nationally.

One of his most recent achievements was to agree the sale of the bingo hall on Thorntree Drive in Denton Burn within 24 hours of receiving the instruction. He is currently on the lookout for a variety of retail premises to meet the needs of existing clients.

"I have a number of financially qualified buyers who are looking for a wide range of retail premises right across the region," he said.
