Elaine Campbell and Alok Loomba have joined Sintons LLP's commercial group.
Solicitor Mr Loomba joins the commercial property department from law firm Hay and Kilner.
His client list will include HJ Banks, Sita and the Church Commissioners.
Ms Campbell joins the company and commercial department from Dickinson Dees, and her work will mainly involve drafting and advising on commercial contracts and general commercial law.
Chris Welch, partner at Newcastle- based Sintons and joint head of the company and commercial department, said: "I know Alok and Elaine will both have a valuable part to play in the continued expansion of the commercial group."
The division saw growth of more than 30 per cent last year, and has more than 30 people in the department.
