New Regional Growth Fund money announced

An extra £1bn is being made available to businesses seeking support to create new jobs, the Government announced today.
The third round of Regional Growth Fund money takes the total pledged to £2.4bn, with a number of North-East firms already benefiting from earlier rounds of the fund.
The deadline for bids to the latest round is June 13 and a series of road shows taking place to give potential bidders the opportunity to find out more about the fund will be in York on March 20 and Gateshead on March 22.
