THE Restaurant Group, owner of Garfunkels and Frankie and Benny’s, says it has stopped the drop in sales it suffered following the volcanic ash crisis and football World Cup.
The firm, which owns more than 40 restaurants in airports, saw sales plummet by about 90 per cent during the height of the ash cloud chaos.
Interim like-for-like sales fell 0.5 per cent.
