ENTREPRENEURS in the North-East who have turned to self-employment after being made redundant are being offered the opportunity to have a website designed for free.
Teesside-based design agency Colourbomb has launched a competition to help one winner get their business off the ground with a bespoke site worth £1,500.
The competition is open to anyone living within 20 miles of Middlesbrough who has been made redundant within the past year.
Colourbomb co-owner Kevin McCourt said: “Teesside has been one of the areas worst affected by the unstable climate, with highly publicised redundancies from Corus and Garlands.
Establishing a business can be a daunting time so we want to help simplify the process by creating a free website.”
The prize includes website design, free hosting, domain and an email address for a year.
To enter, tell Colourbomb your business idea and why you want to win. The deadline is September 20 and the winner will be announced on September 24. Send entries to freeweb@colourbomb.co.uk or Colourbomb, 5 Edmundsbury Road, Middlesbrough, TS5 6PX.
