MEMBERS of a business development organisation for the oil and gas sector are being encouraged to take advantage of potential investment in the US.
Durham City-based NOF Energy is offering member companies the chance to showcase their businesses and build relationships at Houston’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in May.
As part of its stand-sharing initiative, NOF Energy provides companies with the chance to take space on the organisation’s exhibition stand as a catalyst to meeting new contacts and potentially winning business.
Among NOF Energy’s success stories at OTC was Wessington Cryogenics, which last year sealed an international partnership to take its products into Scandinavia.
The Houghton-le-Springbased company, which is returning to OTC with NOF Energy this year, struck an agreement at the exhibition last year with Stavangerbased Fluid Control to market and sell Wessington’s technology, initially in the Norwegian and Danish markets.
OTC, takes place in Texas from May 3 to 6, and is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection.
