ENTREPRENEURS are being offered the chance to win a year’s free business accommodation to get their company off the ground.
Strictly New Business is the idea of Marchday Group, owners of Lingfield Point, in Darlington In conjunction with Business and Enterprise North-East, Marchday is encouraging would-be business owners to pitch their ideas to win a year’s office space at Lingfield Point.
John Orchard, director of Marchday, said: “We are convinced that there are people across the region with innovative and practical business ideas who just need a helping hand to get started.
“By offering an office totally free for a year we hope to give the winning contestant every chance of success.”
Finalists will be invited to present their business proposals in front of a live audience, where a panel of respected local business people will award points.
The person with the most points will win the prize, which includes rent, rates, service charge, buildings insurance and utilities.
Business insurance will be provided by Henderson Insurance Brokers.
