FLEDGLING technology companies have the opportunity to pitch for funding for security innovations at a conference in April.

The Investing in a Secure Futures Conference, organised by technology business support programme Connect North-East, is aimed at bringing companies and their ideas to the attention of venture capitalists.

Companies with innovations that could be used in the security industry will have the chance to pitch for between £250,000 and £1m worth of investment.

The event takes place on April 28, at Hardwick Hall Hotel, in Sedgefield.
