A FAST-GROWING training and recruitment company is looking to treble its turnover to more than £20m and create 24 jobs as part of its North-East expansion.
Premium People, based in Peterlee, County Durham, has seen rapid growth over the past two years, doubling the size of its headquarters and growing its workforce from two to 21 people.
The business, which specialises in permanent and temporary recruitment for the industrial, commercial and contact centre sectors, recently opened an office in Consett.
It plans to open an office in Sunderland by the end of July, and will see a branch opening in Darlington in September.
The jobs and lift in turnover from its current £7.5m is set to be achieved as a result.
Premium People said it has achieved another key milestone in its growth plans by recruiting renowned recruitment specialist Lee Rankin as its head of permanent business.
Paul Boyes, managing director, said Premium People is well-placed to grow.
"Premium People has established a sound reputation among employers in the region, especially within the commercial and industrial markets," he said. "We have grown exponentially over the past two years - over 800 people have already been placed by the business and over 100 companies from a diversity of sectors have used our services to date. Our company's continued success comes at a time when many are seeing a down-turn in business as employers go through tough economic times."
