AN online digital marketing firm expects to create at least 20 jobs in a trade sector partnership.

Espresso Web is working with national tradesperson site Checkatrade.

Boss Stephen Robinson says the move is the first of its kind for Checkatrade, with the duo joining forces to increase offerings for a combined consumer database of almost 30,000 tradespeople.

He added it will create a number of sales roles at Espresso Web’s Middlesbrough head office and pave the way for additional back office and service jobs in the future.

Mr Robinson, sales director, said: “It’s great to find a company with such strong values that are in line with ours and want to do the most they can to help customers.

“Setting up this partnership is huge for us. It shows we are well on our way to becoming a similar trusted force and means we can expand our team further.”

He added its Checkatrade deal will give tens of thousands of tradesmen nationwide the opportunity to benefit from tailormade, discounted digital marketing packages.

Users will also benefit from listings on Espresso Web’s business directory Bizify.
