AN insurance broker aims to create more jobs to continue its expansion.
Erimus Insurance Brokers, in Stockton, now has a 30-strong workforce after taking on four workers.
The commercial insurance specialist says the move will help it target £12m premium incomes this year.
Hannah Davison, a Newcastle University graduate, has joined as a new business placement broker, with accountant Richard Bonas looking after a commercial clients account.
Grant Jones, from Middlesbrough, heads up Erimus' claims department, with senior claims negotiator Neale Wytcherly also joining the company.
Shaun Hughes, managing director, said: “We have recruited experienced and high-quality staff, allowing us to continue our expansion.
“We always looking to add experience and hopefully we will have further additions in the near future.
“There has been a sea change in recent years with companies of all sizes increasingly wanting to keep business local, and that has created a huge opportunity for a privately-owned regional business such as ours.
“We expect our expansion to continue as we increasingly push out across the North-East and beyond.”
Founded in 1986, Erimus’ clients range from owner-managed small and medium-sized businesses to companies with a turnover of more than £200m.
