A WINDOW and door maker has revealed increased revenues, with rising orders helping it start 2014 with a flourish.

Safestyle UK, which has branches in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Gateshead and Newcastle, says revenues up to December 31 stood 12 per cent higher at more than £124m.

The firm added orders for the first three weeks in 2014 have also been positive.

A statement said: “Manufacturing increased during the year with 250,185 frames produced during the period, compared to 232,687 frames in 2012.

“The number of installations also increased by 9.4 per cent to 55,112, against 50,357 in 2012, and the order book at the year end was strong.”
