A RAPIDLY growing motor retailer has recognised two staff from the North-East in an annual awards presentation.

Gateshead based Vertu Motors Plc, the seventh largest motor retailer in the UK, which includes the Bristol Street Motors brand, held its CEO awards ceremony at Jesmond Dean House Hotel, Newcastle.

Steve Robinson, service manager at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall dealership in Newcastle, was named Best Service Manager for driving a high quality of service and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) process throughout his department.

Simon Ward, who is based in the IT department at the firm's head office,   was presented with an outstanding achievement award for developing and delivering the company's Service Plan and showroom systems.
