RAPER Ronnie Doris and her family would like to say thank you for the wonderful tributes paid to Ronnie by cards and beautiful flowers. They have been of great comfort as was the Service of Thanksgiving for Ronnie's life conducted by Rev'd John Moore and the reading from St. Matthew's Gospel and the heartfelt poem so meaningful to me both read by Jenny Elleanor. Thank you to grandchildren Jonathan, Stuart and Andrew and neighbour Scott Hodgson for carrying out their duties as pall bearers. Thank you also to twelve year old Lewis for the reading by grandad's graveside of two of his favourite poems. Special thanks to Denise Marmont for the lovely spring flowers and to Heather the organist for her repertoire of hymns and popular songs. Our grateful thanks also to Doctors, nurses and staff of Evenwood Surgery and to all those who have looked after Ronnie during the final weeks and hours of his life. Finally our thanks to James Blenkiron Funeral Director for his kind consideration in helping us plan an uplifting and comforting service for Ronnie.
