WALKER Peter Groat (Darlington) My family and I would like to thank everyone who showed love and compassion to Peter by way of floral tributes, cards, phonecalls and personally calling to see me - his Dad. The turnout for Peter's funeral was beautiful, no other words could describe it. The graveside service, conducted by Maranny Jones (lay preacher) was exceptional, she did Peter proud even the wind stopped when she spoke of him. We would like to thank the ambulance crew, police, council services, Seaton Leng, the piper, the late Jungle and his two fellow bikers for escorting the cortege from home to the cemetery. We would also like to thank Ian and Mark for tending to Peter's resting place with his mum. We wish also to thank Peter's school friends, bikers, workmates, kite fliers, neighbours old and new. Friendship and caring was shown in abundance and was very touching. It was by words and knowing looks. We thank you one and all from Peter's remaining kin.
