SCOTT Alan (Chester le Street) Formerly of Whitburn. Alan was a retired Police Officer for Durham County Constabulary and Northumbria Police, also Coroner's Officer for South Tyneside. He passed peacefully after a short illness in Picktree Court Care Home, Chester le Street, on August 5, 2018, aged 94 years. Alan, devoted husband of Doreen, much loved dad of Alaine and Jacqueline, loving grandy of Sarah and dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle, will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Would friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, August 16 at 14:30pm. The family will be donating to the British Heart Foundation and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation in his memory. Any donations would be much appreciated.
