PARRISH Dennis Flight Lieutenant DFC, Ld'H RAF (Retd) BSc, died peacefully at home surrounded by family, in Irthlingborough on December 24, aged 95. Loving husband to the late Elizabeth; adored father to Mark and Fiona; loved grandfather to Lucy, Tom, Charlotte, Megan and Edward; and much loved great-grandfather to Maria and Imogen. The perfect gentleman who achieved much: first class cricket and football; decorated service with the RAF as Navigator and Bomb Aimer on Mitchells and Mosquitoes during the Second World War and executive positions with Shell Chemicals. Born in Bishop Auckland he lived in Venezuela, the Netherlands and Canada before returning to Woking. The funeral service will take place at the Nene Valley Crematorium, Wellingborough on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 3.00pm followed by a celebration of his life at the Stanwick Hotel, West Street, Stanwick, NN9 6QY.
