WALLACE John, 96, of Durham City, died peacefully at home on the morning of December 26. His family was with him at the time. He is survived by his son, four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Durham Crematorium at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, January 9. No flowers please. Any charitable donations to St Cuthbert's Hospice.
