SOWERBY Gertie, died Friday, November 10, peacefully in hospital, aged 88 years. Loving daughter of the late Frederick and Anne Sowerby, devoted sister, aunt and great-aunt. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, November 24 at 1.45 p.m. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be given in the Crematorium Chapel, to the Great North Air Ambulance Service. Everyone is warmly invited to the back room at Cotherstone Village Hall afterwards, for refreshments.
