DAVID JOHN WHITTAKER

WHITTAKER David John aged 92 years of Richmond, died peacefully in hospital on September 11. Beloved husband of the late Marianne, much loved father of Paul, Birgitta and Helena and a dear father-in-law loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Richmond, on Monday, September 25, at 11.00a.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for UNICEF may be given on the plate in the church or sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, Victoria House, 21 Queens Road, Richmond. DL10 4AJ.

So sad to hear of the sudden death of Mr Whittaker. I only met him this year but I will miss our chats and meetings very much. He was a kind and interesting man who made an impression on all who met him. At least he will now be reunited with his wife who he missed so much. My deepest condolences go to Paul, Birgitta, Helena and all the family.
